Smoking destroys brain-muscle function and kills you in silence
SMOKING AND THE HUMAN BODY
-Effects Of Nicotine:
Nicotine is a drug. People don’t realize how devastating is and the “silent” effect of nicotine. It is addictive like many drugs and gets absorbed into the bloodstream. Six to seven seconds later the brain can feel the reaction.
Consequences are: Alterations in metabolism, behavior, heart rate, blood pressure. If you keep smoking through the years pockets of nicotine are deposited increasing your risks for cancer and disease at the same time the human body fights its natural degenerative decline.
SMOKING AND THE BRAIN
-Smoking kills brain cells no matter at what age. These cells affect cognitive abilities such as attention, memory, auditory processes, motor coordination or executive functions like planning or multitasking .
-Smoking kills new grown cells and affects short term memory, concentration
-Smoking increases anxiety, stress and produces erratic behaviors.
-Like any other drug it affects you emotionally, people’s personality, behavior or reactions are different if they had been smoking.
SMOKING DESTROYS ORGANS
It destroys your organs internally, especially lungs, liver, kidneys
SMOKING SPEEDS UP YOUR HEARTBEAT
Smoking as any drug, speeds up your heartbeat, your blood pressure increasing your risks exponentially to a heart attack
SMOKING DESTROYS YOUR VOICE
Smoking affects your throat, larynx and mouth.
SMOKING DESTROYS YOUR MUSCLES SILENTLY AND DELAYS MUSCLE RESPONSE
Smoking slows down your muscle response making you “AGE” quickly. After smoking if you try any challenging exercise you will see how you move MUCH SLOWER. This is the process of killing “Motor neurons”, those neurons that carry information to your muscle to make them move faster.
WOMEN FERTILITY
Does Smoking Affect Conception?
Smoking is known to cause problems with fertility. Infertility rates are higher among smokers than nonsmokers and it may take longer for smokers to become pregnant. The connection between cigarettes and infertility is compelling.
While cigarettes do not necessarily cause infertility, they can have an adverse effect on the couple’s ability to conceive. Some may be surprised that the problem exists in men as much as in females. Source: http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Does_Smoking_Affect_Conception
SMOKING AFFECTS SPERM QUALITY IN MEN
Smoking impairs sperm count, reduces sperm lifespan, and may cause genetic changes. Additionally, a 1999 study found that men who smoke have lower sex drives and less frequent sex. (http://www.babyhopes.com)
