Steve Jobs speech at Stanford “Connect the dots and find what you love” This was the speech that changed my life
- Steve Jobs was my inspiration
Steve Jobs just died and I am truly devastated he was a unique man with a super vision and a true care for his customers. I was working in the bank 10 years ago when i got to read his Standford speech and I was totally speechless. Not only i loved what he said but moved me up and down, i read it and bells started ringing in my head that i had a greater mission that just working in the bank that maybe everything made sense and we maybe we can connect the dots from our past. Now i made my dream and not sure if i could have done it without his help. Steve Jobs has left us to teach in heaven since we are always learning and teaching.

‘You’ve got to find what you love,’ Jobs says
This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.
I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.
The first story is about connecting the dots.
I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?
It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. . To read more please click here

I agree Suzanne, so many times we live our lives and we forget about learning. Any time we take up on any challenge, our learning experiences are critical and that is what I loved what Steve said. In my experience my past of a semiprofessional basketball player and Economics degree was critical to develop my program. Connecting the dots and find what you love. Stay hungry stay foolish.
I understand that Steve Jobs is going to speak in the Palo Alto area in the spring of 2011. Please tell me how to obtain tickets to the presentation.
