Brain Plasticity and Strength training
Plasticity of the brain and total body strength training movements:
We have heard the concept of brain plasticity haven’t we? It is our brain’s capability for creating new pathways in our brain, new networks, new lasting connections. However, don’t forget the importance of the brain with movement. Not every movement is the same: the more you challenge the brain the more brain activity is involved.
When you challenge your brain and coordinate different muscle movements you are creating new pathways in one of the most important circuits in the brain such as the one responsible for voluntary movement and sensory feedback. I will exlplain more in my upcoming book: Super Body, Super Brain
